Fourth-ranked Depiro (8-8) was very close to win a game against third ranked Luxol (12-5) in Pembroke on Monday.
Luxol managed to secure only three-point victory 80-77. However their fans expected easier game. It was a good game for American guard Darron Howard (188-1999, college: King) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian Vukasin Jandric (-1988) contributed with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The best for the losing side was American guard Caleb Matthews (193, college: WILMU) with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hibernians have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 15-2 record.
