Kennedy Agyapong NPP's flagbearer hopeful

The Founder and leader of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has warned the New Patriotic Party (NPP), cautioning that selecting Kennedy Agyapong as the party’s flagbearer for the 2028 general elections would lead to a devastating loss at the polls.

In a message posted on social media on June 25, 2025, the controversial preacher claimed that God had revealed to him that the NPP would suffer its “worst ever defeat” should it choose the outspoken former Assin Central MP to lead the party.

“Make a mistake and make Ken Agyapong your flagbearer and you won’t even get 30 percent; the Lord told me NPP will have the worst ever defeat if they try him. I saw a lot of maggots and flies around him, spiritually.”

Gaisie, who has been openly critical of Agyapong’s longstanding attacks on charismatic preachers and prophets in Ghana, accused him of endangering the lives of men of God through what he called “lies, attacks, and loose talk.”

“You can’t attack the churches of God and innocent prophets and expect to be flagbearer. Okay… we are waiting. God has spoken to us. We are waiting for the right time to speak and work. We will prove the power of God and the prophets,” he warned.

He claimed that several of his colleagues in ministry have died as a direct result of Kennedy Agyapong’s attack on them.

“Some of my prophet friends have died because of your lies, attacks, and loose talk. We are watching and waiting for the right time to strike.”

The prophet also described Agyapong as “an anti-Christ,” and warned the NPP that the Christian community and prophets across Ghana are spiritually prepared to resist his candidacy.

“We have covenants with God, and it will be provoked. Ghana belongs to God. The prophets and the churches are waiting for him.”
