M’nagar couple killed in road accident in Haridwar

Roorkee: A 30-year-old auto-rickshaw driver and his wife from Muzaffarnagar district were killed in a road accident near Manglaur in Haridwar district on Saturday.Shanti Kumar, SHO Manglaur, said, "Rajan Bali, 30, a native of Jansath, was living with his family in a rented house in Haridwar's Jwalapur locality.

On Saturday morning, he was travelling to his hometown along with his wife Kusum, mother Rajkumari, sister Vinita and three children when his auto-rickshaw collided with a speeding car on the Roorkee-Manglaur highway bypass.

"He added, "Rajan died on the spot, while his mother succumbed to her injuries at the civil hospital.
