Food management company Levy is stepping into the driver’s seat for this year’s NASCAR Chicago Street Race.

The Chicago-based food service provider will debut a new food and beverage lineup during the event which will be held in Grant Park from July 5 to 6.

NASCAR fans will be able to enjoy two Chicago restaurants owned by Levy — Jake Melnick’s Corner Tap and River Roast — along with other Chicago eateries, including Mr. Beef, Bronzeville Winery, Lexington Betty Smokehouse, Robinson’s Ribs and Josephine’s Southern Cooking.

Sustainability will also be a focus for this year’s race with beverage locations at the event using reusable cups.

“We are thrilled to partner with another Chicago-based culinary powerhouse like Levy to ensure that we continue to shine a spotlight on the local Chicago food scene,” said Julie Giese, NASCAR Chicago Street Race president, in a statement. “With visitors coming from all 50 states and more than two dozen countries around the globe, this partnership allows us to both highlight Levy’s own world-class hospitality and also showcase even more local, family-owned Chicago neighborhood restaurants to our race attendees this Independence Day Weekend.”

Levy is no stranger to racing events. It also provides foodservice for the DAYTONA 500 and Coca-Cola 600 races.

“As a Chicago-lifer, I’m definitely biased, but I truly believe there is no city with more energy than Chicago during the summer,” said Andy Lansing, CEO of Levy, in a statement. “The NASCAR Chicago Street Race highlights our city and the sport in a totally unique way, and it’s been incredible to see fans rally behind it. We’re so excited to help elevate an already wonderful event with a new level of food, beverage and hometown hospitality.”
