Legendary Entertainment Names Di Mu CEO of China Division - IMDb
Legendary Entertainment has promoted longtime marketing executive Di Mu to CEO of Legendary East, the studio’s China-based promotion and marketing division responsible for overseeing local campaigns for both Legendary titles and select third-party releases. Mu will report directly to Legendary CEO Josh Grode.
“Di Mu has been an invaluable member of Legendary East, playing an integral role in the execution of our local campaigns in China,” Grode said in a statement. “Her knowledge of the market, creativity, and leadership make her the ideal person to lead our next chapter in the region.”
Mu joined Legendary East in 2016 and most recently served as EVP of Marketing. With more than two decades of experience in film marketing and media strategy, she has a reputation as one of China’s more effective champions of Hollywood IP. She has led marketing efforts for 12 Legendary titles in China, with total local box office revenues exceeding $1.34 billion.
