Kisii University is in mourning following the untimely passing of Bethshebah Kwamboka, a distinguished alumna from the School of Business and Economics.

A shining star of the Class of 2023, Bethshebah graduated with First Class Honours in Bachelor of Science in Economics and Statistics.

Kisii University Student Association- KSUSA records that her brilliance made her leave a mark as one of the institution’s most promising scholars.

Bethshebah had recently been discharged from Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital and was recovering at home, but in a cruel twist of fate, her journey was tragically cut short.

News of her passing has sent shockwaves through the comradeship fraternity, casting a sombre mood across campus and alumni circles alike.

"We have lost not just a brilliant mind, but a soul filled with warmth, ambition, and resilience," said a statement from the university's alumni association.

Bethshebah's achievements were a testament to hard work and a bright future that now remains unfulfilled.

Her death is a heartbreaking blow to her family, friends, classmates, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

As tributes pour in from across the country, her memory remains etched in the hearts of those she inspired.
