Ketchup Entertainment Scoops Up 'Coyote Vs. Acme' And Puts It On Track For Release - mxdwn Movies
As The Rolling Stone pointed out, Coyote Vs. Acme was scrapped from WBD’s release slate, in favor of taking a tax cut of $30 million. Once word broke out, it was the subject of countless headlines calling for the release of the film.
Coyote Vs. Acme wasn’t the only film to meet this fate, either. Both Batgirl and Scoob! Holiday Haunt, which were also both nearing completion, were cancelled in favor of a tax cut. While Coyote Vs. Acme was given a chance once The Day The Earth Blew Up hit theaters, there’s no word about the fate changing for the other two films.
Coyote Vs. Acme finds Wile E. Coyote down on his luck. His constant attempts at catching the Road Runner continuously fall through as he fails to outsmart him and his Acme tools. After one too many failed attempts, Wile E. Coyote takes Acme to court over their products constantly failing to work as advertised.
Coyote Vs. Acme is eyeing a release sometime next year.
