Speaking on a Sunday during a church service at AIC Kibra, President Ruto asserted his firm commitment to fulfilling the promises made to the Kenyan people, stating he would not be distracted by what he termed "political noise" from opponents forecasting his defeat in the 2027 General Election. He drew a parallel with the biblical figure Nehemiah, who faced distractors while rebuilding the wall, urging a focus on national transformation. "Let us not waste time on people with no plan, no agenda, and no vision. Let's focus on the transformation of Kenya. Our agriculture is being transformed, our economy is undergoing reforms. Let us stay the course,” Ruto declared.
