Kenya's Chief Justice (CJ) Martha Koome has announced 45 vacant positions for judges in the judiciary.

In a gazette notice published on Wednesday, June 4, Koome invited applications from qualified legal professionals to fill the vacant positions.
Koome advertised 15 positions for judges of the Court of Appeal, 20 posts for judges of the High Court and 10 posts for judges of the Environment and Land Court.
"Interested and qualified persons are invited to visit the Commission’s jobs portal for instructions on how to apply," Koome stated.
Court of Appeal judges will hear appeals from the High Court, and any other court or tribunal as prescribed by an Act of Parliament.
Requirements:
The judges of the High Court have unlimited jurisdiction in criminal and civil matters.
They will also interpret the Constitution and have supervisory jurisdiction over subordinate courts.
