Kenya Power Notifies Customers on Token Purchase Delays

Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) prepaid customers cannot obtain their tokens via mobile money.

The utility firm explained that a technical hitch had occasioned the downtime.

It advised the clientele to purchase the tokens via their respective banks as they worked to resolve the hitch.

"We are currently experiencing a delay in the generation of tokens purchased through our Paybill 888880. Our team is working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. In the meantime, customers can purchase tokens through the appointed banks. We apologise for any inconvenience caused," read the KPLC notice.
