Citizen Nana Obrempong, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency Secretary for Tema West, has declared unflinching support for Hon. Kennedy Agyapong as the right candidate to lead the party into the 2028 general elections.

Speaking on NET 2 TV’s political talk show “The Seat,” Obrempong urged party delegates to prioritize the will of their communities over manipulated political surveys and personal preferences.

“Being a delegate is a privileged position. Please find out from your community people the NPP presidential candidate that they desire for the 2028 general elections,” he stated, adding emphatically, “KEN 4 NPP VICTORY 2028.”

Obrempong dismissed what he described as “engineered polls” that appear to favor other aspirants within the party. He encouraged NPP faithful to remain focused and resist attempts to sway public opinion through misleading data.

According to him, Kennedy Agyapong has consistently demonstrated leadership, discipline, and a deep connection with the grassroots, making him the most marketable and trustworthy candidate to break the eight and secure victory for the NPP in 2028.

“The people believe in Ken. The party base connects with his message of patriotism, job creation, and national pride. If we truly want victory, we must listen to the voice of the grassroots,” Obrempong emphasized.

His comments come at a time when internal discussions are gradually gaining momentum about the future leadership of the party post-2024. While several names have surfaced as potential contenders, the endorsement by key constituency executives like Nana Obrempong signals growing grassroots momentum behind Kennedy Agyapong’s anticipated presidential bid.

The Tema West Secretary concluded his remarks by reminding all delegates of their responsibility to represent the collective interest of the party base, not just political elites or trending narratives.

“KEN 4 NPP VICTORY 2028 is not just a slogan. It’s a call to action,” he affirmed.
