NBC has greenlit a new talk series titled “Songs & Stories With Kelly Clarkson,” in which the “Since U Been Gone” singer will interview Teddy Swims, Lizzo, the Jonas Brothers and Gloria Estefan.

The four-night event series is based on a format from “The Kelly Clarkson,” the singer’s daytime talk show that airs in syndication across several NBC stations. She has previously interviewed various artists in special “Songs & Stories” episodes.

The official logline for NBC’s verison of the series reads, “The conversations are a front-row pass for Kelly Clarkson to engage with some of her favorite celebrities and examine both their music and personal lives. The specials are a forum where iconic voices meet heartfelt storytelling through unfiltered conversation and sung in an intimate, unplugged setting.”

Past “Songs & Stories” episodes in “The Kelly Clarkson Show” have centered on R&B singer, songrwriter and producer Babyface, who spoke about his extensive catalog of love songs; Miranda Lambert, with whom Clarkson sang a cover of “Good Luck, Babe!” by Chappell Roan; Alanis Morisssette, who discussed how she didn’t originally want to include the iconic single “Ironic” on her album “Jagged Little Pill” before singing it with Clarkson; and Pink, who teased her then-upcoming album “Trustfall” and performed her 2017 hit “What About Us” as a duet with Clarkson.

“Stories & Songs With Kelly Clarkson” will air on Aug. 19, Aug. 26, Sept. 2 and Sept. 9 at 10 p.m. Universal Television is the studio on the series, with Alex Duda, Kareen Gunning and Clarkson serving as executive producers.
