Thailand’s award-winning wellness sanctuary, Kamalaya Koh Samui, is unveiling new facilities and programmes to address the growing demand for spa and wellness services focused on brain health, cognitive function and mental clarity.

As the property approaches its 20th anniversary in November, Kamalaya is deepening its commitment to cognitive wellness by launching a dedicated brain health facility – The Cognitive House – this month, followed by a Brain Enhancement retreat later this year.

As longevity continues to be a significant wellness trend, brain optimisation has emerged as a key focus within the industry (as predicted in the Spa Business Handbook 2024). Other leading wellness brands, including Clinique La Prairie, are joining Kamalaya in quickly recognising and responding to this growing consumer interest.

Introducing The Cognitive House

Kamalaya’s new brain-focused facility will offer a range of therapies designed to enhance cognitive function and mental wellbeing, including:• Neuro-lymphatic therapy.

• Neurofeedback.• Neuromodulation therapy.

• Transcranial photobiomodulation therapy.

These treatments aim to regulate the nervous system, enhance motor function, reduce stress and anxiety and improve focus, attention, circulation and mood.

The Cognitive House will be opened within to Kamalaya's Longevity House which offers integrative health treatments including ozone therapy, IV infusions and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Coming soon: Kamalaya’s brain-boosting retreatLaunching mid-year, Kamalaya’s Brain Enhancement programme will integrate cognitive therapies, holistic activities, IV infusions, fitness and movement practices and the Kamalaya Essentials supplement line.

“The programmes and experiences we unveil this year will reflect our belief in lasting transformation,” said Gopal Kumar, group director of wellness development.

“From pioneering therapies to personalised wellness journeys, our goal is to empower our guests not just during their stay, but for a lifetime.”

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Kamalaya will host a series of exclusive pop-up retreats in the UK and Australia, introducing its holistic wellness philosophy to a global audience.

The celebrations will culminate in a special anniversary event in November on Koh Samui.
