July 4 fireworks 2025 at Jones Beach: What to know
Head to Jones Beach State Park in Wantagh on July Fourth for a night of fireworks and sing-along anthems like "Defying Gravity," "Levitating," "Hot to Go" and more during the Jovia Financial Credit Union Fireworks Spectacular.
The roughly 25-minute pyrotechnics display begins at 9:30 p.m. and will paint the night sky with colorful patterns and floral designs. Catch patriotic tunes like "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue," "America" and "God Bless the U.S.A."
The fireworks are included in the $10 parking admission. Radio stations WALK 97.5 FM and KJOY-98.3 FM will simulcast music during the fireworks presentation.
Attendees can enjoy live music starting at 8 p.m. and there will be character actors roaming the boardwalk for kids to meet.
During the day, guests can head to the boardwalk for an interactive green screen photo booth experience featuring patriotic and summer scenes.

On July 4, (Nassau Inter-County Express) will be running buses to Jones Beach State Park on a Sunday schedule. Daytime service on the N88X to Jones Beach from the Freeport LIRR station begins at 8:36 a.m. and runs every half hour throughout the day. Postshow return trips for those viewing the Jones Beach fireworks show will leave from the West Bathhouse. Fare is $2.90 per person and can be paid in exact change (coins only), MetroCard, or using the NICE GoMobile app, nicebus.com.

Set sail on a Fourth of July fireworks cruise. Choose from a fleet of boats ($65) offering fireworks cruises through the scenic New York State Channel to a water view of the sky spectacular. Coffee, cookies and other snacks will be served on the return trip. Boats leave at 6:30 and 7 p.m. from (3500 Ocean Pkwy., Babylon). 44-foot, 28-passenger American Yacht catamaran leaves at 8 p.m. for a two-hour cruise with a cash bar and specialty drinks (Jones Beach Brewing Co. blonde ale, Fisher Island Lemonade, coconut coladas, margaritas and more.) Dance to DJ music and enjoy a cash bar aboard The Captain Lou 7, an 85-foot cruiser with a covered upper deck and a climate-controlled cabin and galley, or the Atlantic Pearl, with a covered upper deck and a climate-controlled cabin and galley ($65). Or take a dinner cruise on The Starstream 8, a 100-foot super-cruiser ($95 includes food and drinks). Watch the night sky light up from a seat at , the restaurant and catering facility on the second floor of Jones Beach’s historic Art Deco West Bath House. The ballroom and the dining areas on the building’s terraces offer ocean views and will be open throughout the fireworks show, with baked clams, burgers, lobster rolls, salads and more on the menu. See the fireworks from a different viewpoint on the pier and long shoreline at (1 King Road, Wantagh, 516-571-7460, nassaucountyny.gov) or at nearby (3340 Merrick Rd., Seaford, 516-571-7470, nassaucountyny.gov). Admission is free with proof of Nassau County residence; nonresidents pay a $10 parking fee.
