Joss Stone announced exciting news: she recently welcomed her fourth child, a daughter named Nalima Rose.

In an Instagram post on Monday, June 16, 2025, the singer shared a sweet photo of her with the adorable newborn, captioned, "Happy #mummymondays. Welcome our beautiful Nalima Rose to the world. We are so in love.”

Stone’s pregnancy with Nalima Rose came as a surprise to both her and her husband, Cody DaLuz. Just weeks before announcing the pregnancy, the couple had welcomed their adopted son, Bear, into the family. Although they hadn’t been expecting to have another child again so soon, Stone and DaLuz couldn’t be happier about the arrival of their baby girl.

“Honestly. Shocked was an understatement,” Stone captioned an Instagram video announcing her pregnancy on December 14th, 2024. “Nothing and no one can take our joy now.”

Along with Bear, two other older siblings, Violet, 4, and Shackleton, 2, will welcome Nalima Rose home. Stone clearly has a knack for choosing lovely and distinctive names!

Here are the baby name details for her newest little one:

  • There’s Rose McGowan, an actress and activist known for her role in the TV show Charmed. And Rose Byrne, an actress known for her role in Bridesmaids
  • According to the SSA, the name Rose was ranked the most popular in 1913, representing almost 1% of the total female births that year. The name had declined in popularity, especially from the 1950s through the 2000s. However, since 2010, the name Rose has been gradually regaining popularity. In 2024, it was the 115th most popular female name.
