Jonathan Kuminga Has Three Words About Future With Golden State Warriors
The end of the season has arrived for the Golden State Warriors -- and not in a manner they might have expected.
They suffered a playoff exit in the second round, losing 4-1 to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

While it was an unfortunate outcome, Jonathan Kuminga got to end his season on a higher note.
With Jimmy Butler's trade deadline arrival and a two-month injury absence, Kuminga found his way to the bench late in the regular season.
Stephen Curry was injured in Game 1 in the second round -- as his hamstring strain sidelined him for the duration of the series -- which saw Kuminga return to the lineup on a consistent basis.
Still, his relationship with Warriors head coach Steve Kerr wasn't great -- as Kuminga noted in his post-season press conference.
“We’ve had ups and downs. But he helped me to get here," Kuminga said.

The consensus idea is that the young forward will depart from the club in some fashion this offseason. When asked about his future in the Bay Area, Kuminga had just three words.

“I don’t know," Kuminga said.
In all fairness, the season did just end last night. The 22-year-old will also test his market as a restricted free agent.
Even then, the Warriors may decide to part ways with Kuminga and turn to other team-building moves to put a strong squad around Curry and Jimmy Butler.
For Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr., the phone will be busy this offseason, as he has the ability to build a contending squad for the 2025-26 season.
It's hard to imagine it'll be long before the club or Kuminga know which way they'll be leaning this offseason.
