Jon Jones rips Daniel Cormier, Chael Sonnen after recent interview with Tom Aspinall: 'Whooped both of y'all'

Jon Jones is firing shots at two old rivals.

The UFC heavyweight champion recently went on a tweet storm on Twitter where he discussed a potential heavyweight unification bout with interim champ Tom Aspinall, and responded to fan questions and comments. Of course, Jones would fire off his own thoughts from time-to-time, including commenting on longtime rival Daniel Cormier, and fellow past opponent Chael Sonnen.

Jon Jones whooped both of y’all, but hey—why not team up on a podcast and gossip about his life? Meanwhile, he’s out here making your annual salary in a week. Stay busy, boys. ‍♂️

“Jon Jones whooped both of y’all, but hey—why not team up on a podcast and gossip about his life?,’” Jones wrote. “Meanwhile, he’s out here making your annual salary in a week. Stay busy, boys.”

Cormier and Sonnen are co-hosts on ESPN’s Good Guy/Bad Guy, where both fighters have been critical of Jones’ title reign, most notably after Jones defeated Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 in November while Aspinall has been interim champ for over 600 days. Cormier and Sonnen recently had Aspinall on their show where he declared himself the undisputed UFC heavyweight champion, while saying Jones is retired and “living his best life.”

Jones doesn’t seem like he’s in any rush to return to the octagon to fight anybody, let along Aspinall. “Bones” is considered one of the sport’s all-time greats, and has accomplished a lot in the UFC — including winning two UFC titles in two different divisions.
