On June 6, commencing at 3:30 p.m. local time (June 7, 4:30 a.m. JST), for approximately 45 minutes, H.E. AKAZAWA Ryosei, Minister in charge of Economic Revitalization of Japan, met with the Honorable Scott Bessent, Secretary of the Treasury of the United States of America, and also commencing at 5 p.m. local time (June 7, 6 a.m. JST), for approximately 110 minutes, met with the Honorable Howard Lutnick, Secretary of Commerce of the United States of America. to hold the Japan-U.S. Consultation during his visit to Washington D.C.
