Superman writer-director and DC Studios co-head James Gunn delved into test screenings and reshoots for the Man of Steel's newest cinematic outing. This comes after Gunn shared a new look at Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
Gunn brought this subject up during a DCU press event (via The Nerds of Color), conveying, " All my additional photography is so hard, because it's like, I used to be kind of against it. Because, you know, you don’t want to have to shoot again. It's a pain in the ass."

He further affirmed, " She's really the heart of it in a lot of ways." Tying into this, Gunn insisted that David Corenswet's Superman performance will 'blow people the f--- away' in October.
