Jack Grealish sends message to Man City favourite Riyad Mahrez

Grealish has struggled to make any real impact this season, starting 13 of his 24 games across all competitions, scoring two goals, and providing five assists in his 1228 minutes of action.

revealed (January 16) that Pep Guardiola and Man City were planning to accept a Grealish bid in January but a move never materialised.

Mahrez, 34, is currently ripping it up for Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia, starting all 29 of his games across all competitions, scoring 10 goals, and providing 13 assists in his 2552 minutes on the field.

Grealish took to Instagram to wish his former teammate a happy birthday, saying: “Happy birthday my brother. Funniest guy, miss you man.”

Pep Guardiola's side will travel to league leaders Liverpool on Sunday (February 23) in what will likely be a crucial game for both clubs.

City will then face Ange Postecoglu's struggling Tottenham, a side who have already beaten them twice this season.
