Yuki Kawamura on learning English: The Grizzlies organization, my teammates, especially Ja Morant, he has been helping me a lot. He’s my big brother, he teaches basketball skills, English… Sometimes bad English, like slang, you know what I’m saying? [laughs] But that’s cool, that’s cool, I love it! Jeremy Lin: How did you and Ja Morant become close? Yuki Kawamura: I don’t know why [laughs] At the first practice at training camp I asked him a lot of questions about basketball skills, English, American culture and so on.
