ITV Britain's Got Talent fans 'work out' how Harry Moulding did winning magic trick - Leeds Live
Fans of Britain's Got Talent reckon they've cracked the mystery behind Harry Moulding's breathtaking skydiving magic trick that won him the show.
The much-loved ITV talent contest aired its 2025 finale on Saturday, May 31, with 11 acts battling it out for the public's favour and the sought-after title of BGT 2025 champion. The final line-up included ten acts who had triumphed in previous rounds, plus a wildcard act, Han and Fran.
Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli were present to offer their critiques, while Ant and Dec ensured everything ran smoothly as hosts. A diverse range of performers graced the stage during the final, including The Blackouts, Vinnie McKee, Olly Pearson, Stacey Leadbeatter, Jasmine Rice, Ping Pong Pang, Joseph Charm, Hear Our Voice, Harry Moulding, and Binita Chetry, according to Belfast Live, reports Wales Online.
However, it was magician Harry Moulding who stole the limelight and clinched the prestigious 2025 Britain's Got Talent title. His winning act featured an incredible magic trick involving a video of him skydiving. In the footage, he accurately predicted each judge's card selection, both in the video and live on stage.
As part of his performance, Harry also displayed 50 pieces of paper, each inscribed with a word describing his BGT journey. Simon Cowell picked one, and Harry correctly guessed that the selected piece of paper read 'dream'.
While Harry dazzled with his magical prowess on the BGT final, the act incited a flurry of speculations and admiration among viewers. On Twitter users were posting contrasting views on the magic act, with tweets like: "How much AI on the #BGTFinal magician's video?", and others expressed less enthusiasm with remarks such as: "Not my cup tea this AI magic #BGTFinal".
Theories about Harry's tricks sparked debates, with posts like "AI #BGTFinal", "#BGT he can see the card in the camera" and suggestions like "They have all put their card on the top #BGT."
Despite the conjectures, many remained enchanted by Harry's performance, unable to decipher his methods.
Comments on Twitter showcased the audience's split opinions, one viewer stated: "I'm not usually a fan of magicians but this guy is brilliant and really enjoyable to watch #BGTFinal", while another threw support behind Harry with: "I dont care what anyone says but Harry Moulding deserves to win. All my votes goes to him #BGTFinal" and one more chimed in, "Really want harry to win he's amazing #BGTfinal."
Harry had previously caught attention earlier in the series when he secured his finale place with KSI's Golden Buzzer, and made headlines with an emotional marriage proposal to his girlfriend live on stage.
