has declared that ‘now is the time for peace’ after ordering a surprise airstrike on three of Iran’s major nuclear facilities.

In a released via social media, Trump confirmed that American jets carried out strikes on the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear sites, describing the mission as “very successful.”

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three nuclear sites in Iran… A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home,” Trump said. “There is no other military in the world that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!”

At the time of filing this report, Iran had not officially responded to the attack.

However, Iranian state media claimed the sites had been evacuated prior to the strike, possibly minimizing damage or casualties.

Earlier, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, named three potential successors following reported assassination threats from Israel and the U.S.

He had also warned of retaliation if any American strike targeted Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, threatening to hit U.S. bases in the region.
