Isabela Merced Shining Moment At 'The Last of Us' London Premiere

Published 1 month ago2 minute read

Isabela Merced has been serving looks with the kind of consistency that makes you want to stand up and applaud. Her Ashi Studio moment in LA? Sublime. The Nicholas Oakwell Couture gown in Paris? Still thinking about it. So when she arrived at the London premiere of The Last of Us Season Two, expectations were, understandably, sky high.

Isabela Merced silver sheer Roberto Cavalli Spring 2025 gown ‘The Last of Us’ London Premiere

Wearing a silver semi-sheer halter neck gown with an embellished abstract design, keyhole cutout and open back, she definitely tapped into the house’s signature sultry aesthetic. It ticked all the Cavalli boxes—sexy, slinky, and slightly dangerous—but the execution felt a little out of sync. More 2014 Cannes than 2025 London premiere. I couldn’t shake the feeling that I’d seen this before… on Alessandra Ambrosio at an amfAR Gala, and while that’s not exactly a fashion faux pas, it does lean more “red carpet filler” than “career highlight.”

Still, not all was lost. Isabela’s hair and makeup were easily her best of this press tour. So while the gown might not be one for the fashion history books, the face card absolutely did not decline.
