As reported by BasketNews, Bonga has an NBA clause in his contract, and a large number of NBA teams are interested in the German player’s services.
This season, Bonga played 30 games for Partizan in the EuroLeague, averaging 7.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. In the ABA League, he played 24 games, averaging 6.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.
This summer, Bonga attracted interest from numerous European clubs, and at one point, it seemed he was very close to joining Valencia. However, Partizan ultimately managed to extend the German player’s contract for another two years. Still, it appears that the worries for the Black and Whites are not over, as they might eventually lose one of their key players from last season.
Isaac Bonga has already played in the NBA during his career, representing the Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards, and Toronto Raptors. In Europe, before joining Partizan, Bonga also played for Bayern Munich and Skyliners Frankfurt.
