Love on the Spectrum star ‘s first romance on the series was with Solomon Rooney in season 1. In Touch looks at whether the former Netflix star is autistic and what he’s doing today.

Solomon lists his Instagram bio as his name and the statement, “My life with autism.” The content creator is an autism advocate.

Solomon shared a TikTok post in January 2024 about how autism didn’t hold him back from seeking a college degree. He told fans how he was still studying at Cal State Dominguez Hills, revealing that his grandmother and mother “really pushed me to get my education and really get the career that I want.”

“I want to show the world I can really do something for myself, especially an individual with autism, can really have the job that they want, the career they want and be accepted and loved by people,” Solomon revealed.

“But I’m trying to inspire so many people in the autism community to just really be their best selves and push themselves. Not too much, but as much as they can,” he added. “At the end of the day, I’m here for you all, I love you all and I’m doing the best in my life at this point.”

The former reality star told fans in a March 2025 TikTok video how three years after appearing on the Netflix series, “I glowed up to be a better version of the man I truly am today,” while showing off a view from a park above Hollywood, California.

Solomon looks much different in May 2025 than he did on season 1 of LOTS. He has more closely cropped hair and a beard.

As of May 2025, Solomon works as a content creator, primarily on TikTok. He shares inspirational videos on everything from achieving goals to dating.

In an April 2025 TikTok video, Solomon shared how he has “very good mannerisms” when it comes to speaking to women and “holding conversations.”

“You always have to have good mannerisms with a woman because if you don’t, she’ll ghost you forever. She’ll never speak to you again, because she wants a man who has so much masculinity,” he told followers.

Solomon and Dani dated during season 1 of the Netflix hit, which premiered in 2022. The animator later broke things off.

During their first date, Dani gushed about how Solomon was so “attractive,” both in his looks and his desire to advocate for those with autism.

Dani went on to tell Solomon she was “in love” with him even though the pair has just met, adding, “I think you are so hot.” Their relationship didn’t go beyond season 1.

During LOTS‘ debut season, Dani met during a speed dating session prior to her romance with Solomon. Adán returned in season 2 as Dani debated whether to explore a romance and the two were a couple in season 3 of LOTS.

Dani revealed after season 3 of Love on the Spectrum dropped on Netflix in April 2025 that she and Adán were no longer together, as they had differing views on how to pursue their relationship.

“I didn’t break up with Adan,” she told Netflix’s Tudum. “He broke up with me. Or at least, that’s how it felt. Because for a year and a half, he let me believe we were on the same page, that we were building something real together. And then, just like that, he pulled the rug out from under me.”
