Inside the $430,000 doomsday bunker built 'for when WW3 breaks out' - NewsBreak
A doomsday prepper has offered a glimpse into her personal bunker stocked with $430,000 worth of supplies in preparation for WW3.
This comes as the conflict between Israel and Iran ramps up with the US sending war ships and jets to the region.
Rowan MacKenzie, 40, has set up a personal bunker stocked in preparation for war escalating. She also gave a chilling warning about WW3, which she fears is imminent.
She began stockpiling 14 years ago in case of any calamity, including the end of the world.
She told NeedToKnow: "Gray-zone attacks are exactly what the name says - it's the gray area between a time of war and peace."
She continued: "It's something we preppers consider when stockpiling. They need to be taken extremely seriously, as the economic crash can be just as disastrous as an actual physical war."
MacKenzie revealed the minimum that everyone should prepare. "[You should] stockpile at least 72 hours' worth of essentials," she explained.
"This includes water, food, medications [and] power sources, such as rechargeable batteries. Keep a wind-up radio nearby to stay informed if the internet goes down.
"Learn basic first aid and fire safety. Practice emergency routines with household members, especially little ones. Get to know your local resilience forum and available services.
"As defense evolves, so too must public readiness."
Although it started out as a hobby, for MacKenzie, she now considers it a necessity.
She added: "It's becoming more and more practiced worldwide. It never hurts to protect the people you love. Don't panic; make a list and execute.
"I've said it time and time again, you've got to be prepared for anything at any time."
This comes amid a week of intensifying conflict in the Middle East. Israel targeted crucial Iranian nuclear facilities and eliminated several high-ranking Iranian officials and scientists.
In retaliation, Iranian forces launched a series of missile attacks, leading to ongoing exchanges of fire between the two countries.
Despite initial attempts by Donald Trump to postpone Israeli actions in favor of negotiating through his Middle East envoy, the former president swiftly reversed course. Following the Israeli offensives, Trump took to social media, urging the entire population of Tehran, all 10 million residents, to "immediately evacuate" and even suggested he might aim at Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
On Tuesday, Trump's incendiary statement read: "UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!" Further stoking tensions, Trump claimed dominion over Iran's airspace with "We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran."
