The donations, made through Hyundai Hope, benefit Ducks Unlimited, Make-A-Wish Georgia and Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire.

Hyundai Motor North America announced a combined $90,000 in charitable donations to three nonprofit organizations in Coastal Georgia, reinforcing its commitment to community investment near its new electric vehicle plant in Bryan County.

The donations, made through Hyundai’s corporate social responsibility program Hyundai Hope, benefit Ducks Unlimited, Make-A-Wish Georgia and Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire. The funding supports a range of local causes, from wetland conservation to providing comfort for critically ill children and their families.

"This includes investing billions of dollars and creating thousands of jobs in our manufacturing facilities and the supplier ecosystem. It also includes giving back to the communities where our team members live and work."

Ducks Unlimited received $25,000 to fund its Southeast Wetlands Initiative in Georgia. The organization, the world’s largest private wetlands and waterfowl conservation group, has partnered with Hyundai since 2023. The funds will help conserve and restore crucial habitats in the region.

Make-A-Wish Georgia, which has received $30,000 from Hyundai since their partnership began last year, continues to grant life-changing wishes to children battling critical illnesses. “We are so grateful for Hyundai’s generous and unwavering support of our mission,” said , president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Georgia. “Together, we are bringing hope and joy to critically ill children and their families when they need it most.”

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire, another Hyundai partner since 2023, has received $35,000 to support its mission of providing a home-like environment for families with children receiving hospital care. The organization’s services help children heal faster and ease the stress of medical treatment for families.

Hyundai Hope aims to advance the wellbeing of individuals and communities through direct support of health, safety, and sustainability initiatives. The program aligns with Hyundai’s broader commitment to what it calls “Progress for Humanity.”
