Himachal Pradesh has been recognised as the Most Welcoming Region in India for the second consecutive year in Booking.com’s Traveller Review Awards 2025. Kerala and Goa have secured the second and third spots respectively, reinforcing India’s diverse and welcoming appeal. Bir, a scenic town in Himachal Pradesh, has emerged as the Most Welcoming City, followed by Mararikulam in Kerala and Leh in Jammu & Kashmir.

The awards are based on over 360 million verified customer reviews and highlight the efforts of accommodation providers who consistently deliver outstanding hospitality. The rankings are determined by the proportion of award-winning accommodation in each destination, showcasing the welcoming nature of various Indian cities and regions. Whether in the adventure trails of the Himalayas or the serene backwaters of Kerala, these destinations exemplify the warmth and hospitality that define India as a top global travel destination.

On the global stage, Italy continues to lead in the number of award recipients, followed by France, Spain, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
