AMA Stays & Trails, a premium homestay brand from Indian Hotels Company, has reached a significant milestone, expanding its portfolio to 250 bungalows. In 2024, 110 new bungalows were signed, with 33 openings. With a focus on experiential leisure, the brand has extended its presence across India, particularly in Maharashtra, Goa, Kerala, and newly ventured northern destinations.

AMA Stays & Trails, the premium homestay brand from the Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), has achieved a significant milestone by reaching a portfolio of 250 bungalows. In 2024 alone, 110 bungalows were signed and 33 opened, highlighting the growing demand for unique and experiential leisure options. The brand now has an additional 131 bungalows in the pipeline.

Deepika Rao, Executive Vice President, New Businesses and Hotel Openings at IHCL, stated, "Reflective of the growing demand for experiential leisure, AMA Stays & Trails has witnessed a 10X growth in its portfolio since its launch in 2019. More than 40 per cent of our footprint resides in Maharashtra, Goa, and Kerala, capturing the high demand from urban cities for drivable leisure destinations in these states."

Rao further highlighted, "A significant share of the 2024 signings were greenfield in nature, demonstrating the long-term potential of this emerging hospitality format. Additionally, the brand has expanded to newer northern destinations, including Corbett, Bhimtal, Udaipur, Mussoorie, and Mukteshwar."
