There’s no way to sugarcoat it: Shopping for jeans is hard work. There are seemingly endless options to sort through, and every pair of jeans fits differently, so it’s perfectly normal to struggle with where to buy jeans online. But all the hard work of shopping for jeans does pay off: Well-fitting jeans with a good wash are the MVP of any wardrobe.

If you’re still looking for those Goldilocks jeans, read on. We’ve rounded up some of the best places to buy jeans online right now, including digital storefronts for trendy jeans, budget-friendly denim, high-end jeans, and everything in between.

on-Trend

Over the last few years, Abercrombie & Fitch has not only escaped fashion jail but also become one of the best stops for affordable, on-trend clothing. Their denim selection follows suit, making the American label one of the best places to buy jeans online right now. They have dozens of pairs of jeans, including everything from staples like straight-fit jeans to baggy picks. Prices are all solid as well, with most pairs of Abercrombie jeans hovering just under $100 (without any discounts).

The original jeans brand, Levi’s, is still a top dog of the denim world for good reason. The brand has a massive variety of fits, from the ubiquitous 501 Originals to the slim 511s, and each comes in at least several wash options. Build quality is (famously) top-notch, with most Levi’s looking best after a few years of wear. As far as fit goes, Levi’s inseam and waist measurements are true to size. Classic Levi’s options are also still well priced at around $80 (although the website is almost always running good deals), but they do have some higher-end options like selvedge jeans.

Lots of brands have jumped on the “elevated basics” trend, but only a few have nailed it. Everlane is one of them. Like most of their pieces, Everlane’s jeans are clean, simple, and especially comfortable. They have a good selection of fits too, although nothing very baggy, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Wrangler is an iconic American denim brand, but where Levi’s went mainstream fashion decades ago, Wrangler spent more time as a go-to for working westernwear. That started to change several years ago, and we’d argue that Wrangler is now on par with Levi’s in terms of style. The only difference is Wranglers are less expensive, and Wrangler’s look typically skews more classic cowboy/Western. In fashion’s current epoch, we’re fans of Wrangler’s dramatic Cowboy Cut jeans (meant to be worn over cowboy boots), but they also have plenty of more modern cuts.

Another classic denim brand from the 19th century is Lee. You probably don’t see them as often as Wrangler, and certainly not as often as Levi’s, but we think they should be just as much a part of everyone’s denim search. Like Wrangler, Lee’s look is more classic Western. They’re also one of the most affordable brands on this list, with many pairs of jeans available for less than $50.

Designer jeans can be harder to find online, but Ssense is usually a great place to look. The massive webstore has hundreds of pairs of jeans at any given time, and the range of styles is great for finding something unique. You’ll see wild, cutting-edge denim designs from designers like Vetements and Jean Paul Gaultier, but you’ll also find special-edition Levi’s, quiet luxury RRL denim, and more.

If you’re looking for something nicer than Levi’s but not quite as out there (and as expensive) as those jeans on Ssense, head to Nordstrom. The beloved department store always has a good selection of jeans, placing a special focus on elevated yet highly wearable jeans from brands like APC, Mother, 7 For All Mankind, and Joe’s. Plus, Nordstrom also offers great discounts regularly.

True Religion was a Y2K staple, and they’ve seen a serious resurgence lately, largely thanks to celebrity fans like Timothée Chalamet. If you’re looking for a pair of statement jeans to rock in 2025, shop the brand’s updated styles here. We recommend the Ricky Super T Straight Jean for the iconic True Religion look.

Premium Picks

Mr. Porter is one of the best places to find any high-end menswear, including jeans. The site carries dozens of top designers, including everything from more affordable brands like Ralph Lauren to ultra-luxe Bottega Veneta and Rick Owens. We also love Mr. Porter’s level of curation: There’s plenty to see, but not an overwhelming selection.

Workwear jeans have graduated from trend to wardrobe staple. Case in point is the continued presence of Carhartt’s jeans around the world. They’re affordable, extremely durable, and also (still) extremely stylish with casual outfits. The ones to get are the double-knee jeans, which can be had for $55.

Dickies is another workwear classic that came roaring back into style a few years ago and doesn’t show any sign of leaving soon. They’re also one of the most affordable brands on this list, with jeans starting at under $30. But don’t let the price fool you: Dickies jeans are better made than some $100+ options, and their fit is often more on-trend too.

Gap has long been a great stop for comfortable, affordable denim, and it’s still one of the best places to buy jeans online. They have a huge denim selection, ranging from sleek office-ready jeans to pre-distressed, baggy jeans for casual outfits. And deals are very common, so you can typically get jeans for well below the already-affordable retail prices.
