I’ll admit, I didn’t exactly welcome the capri trend with open arms. The cropped pants just weren’t doing it for me—blame my petite frame, cankles, and general resistance to micro trends. But when Anne Hathaway wore classic black ones, I was surprised to find myself kind of liking the controversial style—and Hailey Bieber’s polka dot pair might have just fully converted me.

Recently, Bieber combined two of summer’s biggest and most nostalgic trends: polka dots and capris. She paired the stretchy statement bottoms with a simple black tank top and matching kitten heels. The retro-inspired look was easy and comfortable yet remarkably cute, convincing me that maybe capris are what my wardrobe is missing. Below, shop the eight capris even I—a former hater—am loving, from just $14.
Amazon
If you're not fully sold on this style, Leggings Depot's $14 capris are a great way to try the trend for less. I'm partial to these in black (the classic color super sleek), but the pants are also availalbe in 34 other colors.
Abercrombie & Fitch
Another place to shop this trend for less is at Abercrombie & Fitch, where the brand’s mid-rise capris are on sale for just $32 (thank you double discount!). While that price is the major reason why I’m loving these, I’m also very into the pleated detail, which elevates the trendy style.
Nordstrom
Topshop’s Bengaline capris are one of the longer styles on the list, making them a good entry point for anyone who's been a little nervous to try this trend. And thanks to the pant’s small flare, these are also great for petite shoppers.
Cider
To get Bieber’s look, you’ll want to grab Cider’s $38 polka dot capris. The cotton-blend pants are stretchy, lightweight, and available in six colors, including a while base with small black polka dots.

Miaou’s Emma capris are one of my favorites, and it’s thanks to the cute bow details at the hem. They’re also made from a subtly shiny velour, so I picture these being more of a night-out capri.
Free People
There’s a reason why Free People’s Feeling Flirty capris are nearly sold out. Not only do shoppers say that they’re “flattering” and “very comfortable,” but the pants also feature summer’s ‘It’ print, a contrasting lace hem, and sweet bow details.

Anthropologie
Anthropologie’s capris are outfit-making, and it’s all thanks to that cool popcorn texture and ruffled hem. The eye-catching combination allows you to keep the rest of your outfit super simple. TBH, I’d just copy Bieber here and do an easy tank and sandals.
