While discussing his role as Nigel Kipling in The Devil Wears Prada, Graham noted that Stanley Tucci had "cornered the market" as the "urbane gay man." Graham asked him how he discovered how he was "good at that," to which the actor said, "well, that's a long story." As , another guest, noted, "That sounds like a conversation for a chat room," the award-winning actor began discussing his pivotal role, but Graham leaned over to and reminded her that how she feels about , he feels about Stanley Tucci, exclaiming, "Yes I did!" when asked about auditioning for the part of Nigel Kipling.

Graham, an urbane gay man, told his rival, "I put the work in! I spent my life preparing!" To make matters worse, Stanley Tucci revealed that the film was already filming, and he was the last person they sought, trying to cast "anyone and everyone." Of course, He tried to save face by saying, "It was between you and me. It's true." Now, Miriam Margolyes, the legend and icon that she is, noted that sometimes people who are "not gay are better at being gay than people who are." Of course, that's a conversation that has not aged well. Though she did note that she, a lesbian, does not like playing them, saying she "loathes" kissing women on stage or screen. Her reasoning, "I don't want them thinking that f fancy them." As Stanley Tucci retorted, "That's exactly why I don't play lesbians on stage."

Almost twenty years old, The Devil Wears Prada is consistently one of the most beloved films of the aughts. As many fans have been begging for a sequel, there is still hope. Speaking to Variety, Tucci noted, "I know they’re working on it. If it happens, I would be so happy, but I cannot give you any information. Otherwise, I’ll go to the actor’s prison or something. [The original] was one of the best experiences ever." It's an interesting comment as Tucci has gone on the record in the past about how difficult it was to find a job following that film.
