Gold and Silver Prices Today, June 23, 2025: Gold prices on Monday (June 23, 2025), after gaining marginally in early trade, were trading lower. As of the last count at around 1:13 pm, gold August futures on the MCX traded lower by 0.19 per cent or Rs 187 at Rs 98,922 per 10 gm. Meanwhile, silver July futures were up by 0.44 per cent or Rs 466 at Rs 1,06,690 per kg. However, at the day's high, silver prices climbed to Rs 1,06,820 per 10 gm.

Primarily, the precious yellow metal is witnessing a drag as investors favoured the dollar, following the US intervention in the Iran-Israel conflict, with the former attacking Iran's key nuclear sites.

In the previous session on Friday, gold August futures contract settled at Rs 99,109 per 10 grams with a loss of 0.22 per cent and silver July futures contract settled at Rs 1,06,224 per kilogram with a loss of 1.09 per cent.

The escalation in geopolitical tensions is driving gains in the dollar index, which is weighing on gold, as markets closely track Iran's response. The US dollar index 

Internationally, gold futures were down 0.39 per cent at $3,372.56 per ounce, while spot gold traded weak by 0.32 per cent at $3,357.43 per ounce. Meanwhile, silver July futures traded higher by 0.19 per cent at $36.08 per ounce.

Gold has support at $3366-3330, while resistance at $3404-3427 per troy ounce and silver has support at $35.64-35.30, while resistance is at $36.36-36.74 per troy ounce in today’s session. At, MCX gold is having support at Rs 98,660-98,280 and resistance at 99,400-99,850 while silver is having support at 1,05,400-1,04,650 and resistance at 1,07,000-1,07,800.
