Tema, Ghana – Secretary General of the Ghana Federation of Labour (GFL), Abraham Koomson, has called for the reassignment of the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng, citing concerns over loyalty and trust issues due to his appointment by the previous NPP administration.

Speaking on Ahotor FM’s Yepe Ahunu show with host Nana Dogbe on Saturday, June 21, 2025, Mr. Koomson expressed worry that the Special Prosecutor may have a “soft heart” for members of the former government, potentially compromising his objectivity in prosecuting alleged acts of corruption.
