Tema, Ghana — Secretary General of the Ghana Federation of Labour (GFL), Abraham Koomson, has firmly rejected claims by Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo that the ongoing process to determine her possible removal from office is politically motivated.

Speaking on Ahotor FM’s Yepe Ahunu show on Saturday, June 28, 2025, Mr. Koomson described the Chief Justice’s allegations as unfounded and accused her of falling victim to her own misuse of judicial authority.
