Bayern - Ulm 81-77

Bayern celebrated the decisive third win in the BBL Finals tonight. They held off Ulm to defend the trophy. Devin Booker (205-F/C-1991, college: Clemson) stepped up with 19 points to pace the champions.
Bayern looked the better part in the first period. The hosts sank 28 points in the first quarter to take a 7-point lead. The teams exchanged baskets throughout the second term. Bayern ensured a 48-41 halftime advantage. But Ulm pulled closer in the third stanza. The visitors got within 4 points at the final intermission. Ulm opened the fourth quarter with 7 points in a row to pull ahead. They were up by two 75-73 midway through the quarter. However Bayern ignited an 8-2 rally to close the regulation and sealed the decisive victory at the end. Shabazz Napier (185-PG-1991, college: UConn, agency: Alti Sport) produced 15 points, while Johannes Voigtmann (211-F/C-1992) had 13 points for Bayern. Karim Jallow (198-SF-1997) replied with game-high 22 points for Ulm. Justinian Jessup (201-G-1998, college: Boise St.) accounted for 11 points in the loss.
