Earlier, the selection panel assured Kenyans that a full-fledged electoral body would be in place within two months.
According to the guidelines issued by the Makanda-led team, Kenyans should expect IEBC commissioners to be in place by the end of April this year.
President William Ruto appointed a nine-member panel to recruit commissioners for the 2027 general election after months of back and push among members of the Azimio la Umoja Coalition Party.
The country has been without a fully functional electoral commission for close to two years.
The term of former IEBC chairperson Wafula Chebukati and two other commissioners lapsed while four other commissioners resigned after the contested 2022 General Election.
