They mourned him as a cherished member of their editorial team who will be missed dearly by his colleagues.

In his last Facebook post published on March 5, Parsayo shared a cryptic message as a caption to his photo.
He was in a light blue shirt, black trousers and tie as he crossed his hand and happily smiled for the camera.
"Ore teniiti ing'orisho amu keboree irkikuu enkoitoi!" (When you are there, always look around because there are thorns on the way)," he wrote.
It is unclear if the post had anything to do with his situation or a complimentary message to advise those working hard like he was.
Renowned Citizen TV journalist Stephen Letoo in an exclusive interview with noted that Parsayo was a bold journalist who had a great future ahead.
"I am wishing the family peace and strength during this difficult moment. We will always stand together as the media fraternity, and see that he is given a good send-off. We come from the same area in Kilgoris, and I have interacted with him. Sometimes we used to meet in Parliament and he would ask me how to go about things. He was a good man who was focused on bettering his career. I saw a brighter future for him, we just pray for the family," he said.

"It was just the other day when we had a chit-chat on geopolitics and international relations. Little did I know that it would be our last conversation. I'm yet to come to terms with the news of your demise."
