Published 3 weeks ago14 minute read

The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Entente Orleans 45 (22-9) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by ADA Blois (22-9)

66-64. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Entente Orleans 45. It was a key game for the top position in the league. 25 personal fouls committed by Orleans helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Siyani Chambers (183-1993, college: Harvard) who helped to win the game recording 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Maxime Sconard (193-2003) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American guard Lee Moore (194-1995, college: UTEP, agency: 011 Sports) answered with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for Orleans. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Blois keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Orleans and Boulazac. Blois will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Orleans will play on the road against Poitiers and is hoping to win this game.

At the losing side Surinamese forward Gavin Kensmil (201-1998, college: SF Austin) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds. C'Chartres' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Fos-sur-Mer (8-23) moved-up to eighteenth place, which they share with Evreux and Chartres. Fos-sur-Mer will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Chartres will play at home against Roanne (#4) having rather not much hope for a victory.
