For the second straight week, four Ashland University student-athletes have earned Athlete of the Week honors from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.

  As announced by the league on Monday (April 7) afternoon, two baseball players – graduate left fielder/designated hitter (player) and senior right-hander (pitcher) – and two women's outdoor track and field athletes – sophomore (field) and junior (track) – are the latest Eagle honorees.

  In a 5-0 week for the No. RV Eagles last week:

Ashland (23-8) will play host to Gannon (12-16) in a non-conference doubleheader at 2 p.m. on Wednesday (April 9).

  At the University of Cincinnati's Oliver Nikoloff Invitational on Friday and Saturday (April 4-5):

Ashland's men's and women's outdoor track and field team will compete at the Hillsdale Outdoor Mid-Week Multi Meet on Wednesday and Thursday (April 9-10), and Mount Union's John Homon Open on Friday and Saturday (April 11-12).
