Four die in Champaran highway crash

Motihari: At least four people died and four others sustained serious injuries after a three-wheeler they were travelling in collided with a stationary truck on NH-28 near Sarrottar village under the Dumariyaghat police station area in East Champaran district on Thursday.The victims were identified as Deepak Sah (35), Yashraj (40), Ritesh (24) and Rikesh (23), all residents of Mahamadpur village under Kesariya police station. They were returning home from Motihari after attending a wedding.Upon receiving information, Dumariyaghat police rushed to the spot, seized both the truck and the three-wheeler and shifted the injured to a private nursing home in Motihari for treatment.
