Former NXT Champion officially becomes a part of WWE SmackDown
A top NXT standout is now an official part of the Friday Night

roster.WWE often sees many of its top performers from their developmental territory, NXT, being called up to the main roster to begin their journey in the big leagues. Many of those superstars have went on to become top names in the industry with their tenure in NXT proving to be a huge asset. This week's edition of Friday Night SmackDown saw the addition of a former champion from the Black and Grey brand become an official part of the roster.
During the May 16th, 2025, edition of SmackDown, the fans saw a backstage interaction between Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss outside General Manager Nick Aldis' office. This was a continuation of their meeting from last week, which hinted at Bliss offering to join forces with the 14-time World Champion.At that moment, the office door opened and out came the former NXT Women's Champion, Giuila. After a brief stare, Nick Aldis also came out to reveal that the Beautiful Madness was now a part of the SmackDown roster. This garnered loud cheers from the audience upon learning the news which can change the entire landscape of the blue brand.

will make her official main roster debut on SmackDown next week. She will compete in the triple-threat Money in the Bank qualifying match against Charlotte Flair and WWE Women's United States Champion Zelina Vega. The international sensation has an opportunity to make a huge impact on her very first night as an official SmackDown superstar.
Giulia arrived in WWE last year to become a part of NXT. In only a few months, she ended the dominant reign of Roxanne Perez to capture the NXT Women's Championship at the New Year's Evil event. Moreover, she has been competing on the main roster since the start of 2025 with appearances on RAW and the Royal Rumble event.
