'For the drama' - Tyla drops 'Bliss' music video

Published 2 days ago3 minute read

'Water' hitmaker Tyla has released the official music video for her latest single, 'Bliss'.

"For the drama, for the plot… Bliss mv out now," she captioned a clip of the visuals on Instagram.

The Julien Christian Lutz-directed music video opens with a shot of Tyla standing in a desert landscape.

There's a huge explosion in the background, but she is seemingly unbothered.

"I don't wanna be in the world without you/ Baby, I don't wanna let you out my sight/ I don't wanna, I don't wanna ever break away from you/ Or the light might go away, I need you in my life," she sings.

In the video, Tyla shows a range of emotions, including sadness. At one point, she even breaks down in tears.

Tyla teased 'Bliss' for the first time during a performance at the 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California in April.

The song debuted in May and received wide praise from fans. "The song is so addictive, OMG," one fan said.

Tygers, as her fanbase is called, also approve of her latest music video.

"I just love her and bringing back the excitement and aesthetic of 2000s music videos," a YouTuber wrote.

This is the third music video Tyla has appeared in this year.

In May, she appeared in Blackpink singer Lisa's music video for 'When I'm With You'. Three months later, Tyla released a music video for her 'Push 2 Start' remix with Sean Paul

The 23-year-old also featured on WizTheMc’s remix of 'Show Me Love'. Tyla is also working on the follow-up to her self-titled debut album.

She hasn't revealed any official details about her sophomore project but has confirmed that it will be released sometime in 2025.

"I’ve changed a lot in a short amount of time because I was kind of forced to with how fast I had to adapt to everything. I don’t think it’s going to be the same energy [as 'Tyla'] at all, especially with what I’ve started making. It’s different, but also still Tyla," she told Billboard in March.
