Fire breaks out at NYS Thruway Office Building in Salina, ceiling collapses

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A fire broke out at the New York State Thruway Office Building on Elwood Davis Road in Salina on Tuesday evening, Feb. 11.

Fire crews were first called to the blaze around 7:45 p.m.

The fire started on the first floor and caused the ceiling to collapse, according to the Moyers Corners Fire Department. Fire crews were then pulled from the building.

10 fire companies are on scene, the Moyers Corners Fire Department said.
