Don't forget that False Positives by Virus Total is a normal part of the workflow when uploading files to scan. They simply aggregate data from many different vendors and you are supposed to let Virus Total know about the False Positive as they track those as well. A file/url that has not made its way on the exceptions list as a false positive is likely to show up on one or more of the vendors they use to aggregate their data, just like if you had used that vendor yourself.
Downloading a file from Canva on your iPad is only going to be a data file and nothing that can actually execute code as would be required by a nefarious Trojan file.
