The Eurojust Regulation, reinforces Eurojust's successful core concept of supporting the national authorities in their investigations and prosecutions. The National Members, serving their national authorities in criminal judicial cooperation matters, provide strategic guidance and participate actively in the operational and policy activities linked to the mandate of Eurojust. In 2024, the 80 National Members, Deputies and Assistants were supported by 278 staff.

The Annual Work Programme (AWP) 2024 is the last AWP under the MAS 2022-2024. This report focuses on the implementation of the AWP 2024 and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), the 2024 budget execution and staffing policies, and the implementation of internal controls.

Eurojust achieved 81% of the 2024 KPIs, and 86% of its multi-annual (2022-2024) KPIs. Casework remained high with 12,972 cases. In total, 640 Coordination Meetings and 32 Coordination Centres were organised. Eurojust supported 361 Joint Investigation Teams, facilitated the execution of 452 European Arrest Warrants and enabled the use of 2,668 European Investigation Orders.
