This time, Eric is rallying support for a grieving woman from Nyandarua county who has kept her parents’ bodies in the mortuary for years due to the lack of land to bury them.

In a deeply emotional video shared on his social media platforms, Eric introduced the world to Susan Wairimu, a woman who has endured unimaginable grief and trauma.

Susan lost her father in 2012 and her mother in 2019, but to date, she has been unable to give them a decent burial.

The video, filmed at Engineer Hospital Funeral Home, captured Susan in tears, barely able to breathe as she viewed her mother's body.

Eric comforted her as she cried, later sharing heart-wrenching images from the morgue, including a glimpse of her late mother, Hannah Mutahi, whose body has been preserved since July 2019.

"Her life has come to a standstill because of the trauma. You cannot have a normal life, you cannot even sleep," Eric said.
Eric Omondi urged well wishers to help raise funds for Susan Wairimu to bury her parents.

The comedian also visited Susan’s humble rural home, where they engaged in a prayer session.

He explained that Susan could not bury her parents on the family land due to an ongoing dispute, forcing her to seek alternative land elsewhere to finally lay her parents to rest.

The activist is now calling on well-wishers to come together and raise funds to buy Susan a piece of land and build a small house so she can bury her parents and begin healing.

“Team Sisi kwa Sisi. This is one of the saddest stories I have ever encountered. All she needs is a small piece of land to bury her parents and build a small structure to live in. Let’s go guys, tuzike hii weekend," he wrote.

He urged well-wishers to send their contributions directly to Susan via M-Pesa number 0705074219.

Susan, in a tearful moment, expressed her gratitude for the support, saying:

"I will be happy if that happens because at the start of every year, I am always mourning, and also at the end of every year, I am still mourning. It has been many long years of grief. I look at Eric as my child who is feeling my pain and sympathising with me. God will bless you."

In another act of kindness, Eric stepped in when Consolata Aoko’s grandchildren faced a school fee debt, after she brought six chickens to the school as payment.

Eric managed to raise more than KSh 800,000 to assist the family and guarantee the children’s return to school.

He revealed that KSh 600,000 of the total amount would be set aside specifically for the children’s college tuition.
