Get ready to experience the 'World of Raanjhanaa' once again as a new film with a similar theme is on its way. After 12 years of a long wait since 2013's Raanjhanaa, Aanand L Rai is ready to arrive in theatres on 28th November 2025 with an equally devastating tragic romance titled Tere Ishk Mein. While the makers had previously confirmed Dhanush's casting as Shankar, it was earlier today (January 28) that they officially announced Kriti Sanon as their female lead, Mukti.

The teaser featuring Kriti in a devastated avatar was captioned with Amrita Pritam's popular quote, "Life tests only those qualities that are present within you. There was love inside me." In another clip shared by makers, Kriti was heard saying, “Shankar, Ishq mein sirf ladke hi marte hai kya? Kuch ladkiya bhi kaleja rakhti hai jaan dene ka." Watch here:-

Soon after the makers dropped this announcement, the internet couldn’t keep calm but broke into joy. One user said, “Kriti's dialogue delivery is so good here also she looks damn badass. go girl slay this role.” Another said, “She looks like she’s gonna kill it in this one as well. Let's goooo .” Someone else added, “Kriti's dialogue delivery in both the announcements was good.” The fourth said, "Excited for this one Kriti will deliver another banger performance."

Gulshan Kumar, T-Series and Colour Yellow Production are presenting this romantic tragedy produced by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. Tere Ishk Mein is an A.R. Rahman Musical written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav. Shiv Chanana and Sandeep Nair have co-produced the film in the lyrics of Irshad Kamil and Vishal Sinha as DOP.

Nitin Zihani Choudhary is the production designer, Sham Kaushal is the action director and Kavya Sriram is the costume designer. With T-Series as the music label, Tere Ishk Mein’s visual promotions are handled by Just Right Studioz NX and Mukesh Chhabra CSA has done the casting. Just to clarify any confusion, Tere Ishk Mein is not a sequel to Raanjhanaa but a fresh spiritual/standalone film.
