Draymond Green Did Not Mince Words on Chicago Sky's Blowout Loss to Fever

Published 11 hours ago2 minute read

With the season already over for the Golden State Warriors, former Defensive Player of the Year Draymond Green has had more time on his hands.

As it turns out, the four-time All-Star has been following the WNBA, and Green caught some of the action on Saturday night. The four-time NBA champ, however, was not delighted with what he saw, particularly from the Chicago Sky

Angel Reese and Co. got themselves utterly humiliated again on Saturday as they suffered a 79-52 home loss to their biggest rivals, the Indiana Fever, who did not have the services of the injured Caitlin Clark.

Green took to social media to share his brutally honest thoughts on the Sky's performance.

"The Sky play a very bad brand of basketball," Green posted on Threads

Green is not the type to mince words, and he's made his opinion of Chicago extremely clear here.

As the NBA veteran said, it was a deplorable all-around performance from the Sky on Saturday night. On the offensive end, not even a single Chicago player was able to score in double figures as they collectively shot 32.1% as a team.

The Sky didn't fare too well on the defense as well, with players such as Kelsey Mitchell (17 points, five rebounds) pretty much having their way against Chicago throughout the evening.

Green is clearly unimpressed by the Sky's "brand of basketball," and after seeing their performance in this highly anticipated clash against the Fever, it's hard to argue against the Warriors star.
